Workshops October 2011 Would you like to learn the tips and tricks of making miniatures? Then the workshops, which are held preceding the show, offer an excellent opportunity. On Thursday, 27 and Friday 28 of October 2011, top miniaturists will tell you their secrets at the restaurant area at the Rijnhal. The workshops are not just educational; you will leave with a special, self made miniature and during the workshops you will enjoy the company of other miniaturists to talk miniatures! You will also be able how the show is build up. When you arrive at the hall, it will be empty, but when you leave it will be filled with treasures, and the party can begin!
Akke Ris Butterfly house with feeding platter Who wouldn’t love to have butterflies in their garden? With this butterfly house on a pole you will! To lure the butterflies to the house, you will put in a feeding platter filled with fruit. You will make the house from wood and paint it. From clay en clay canes, you will make the feeding platter.
